Platform Terms of Service
Plain-language summary: We're transparent about what we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are. The full text below is the legally-binding version. If anything seems unclear, email legal@junkdna.ai.
1. Scope
These Platform Terms govern your use of the JunkDNA.AI service (the "Platform") — the AI-powered personal data management product. They are separate from the Website Terms that govern junkdna.ai. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Platform Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Platform is not currently available in all jurisdictions; we will notify you if your jurisdiction is unsupported.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at security@junkdna.ai.
4. Authorizations You Grant
The Platform operates on the basis of explicit, granular authorizations you grant for each connected institution. You can revoke any authorization at any time. JunkDNA will never propagate updates to an institution you have not authorized.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for unlawful purposes, (b) attempt to access another user's data, (c) reverse engineer the Platform's protocols, (d) use the Platform to commit identity fraud, (e) submit false or misleading personal information, or (f) interfere with the Platform's operation.
6. Fees and Subscription
The first 50,000 registered users get one full year free. After the free period, the Platform is subject to a published subscription fee. We will give you at least 30 days notice before transitioning your account from free to paid.
7. Intellectual Property
JunkDNA retains all rights in the Platform's software, agents, protocols, and infrastructure, including the 42 patents filed (Non-Provisional Utility and PCT, April 14, 2026). You retain ownership of your personal data; you grant JunkDNA a limited license to process and propagate it solely as you direct.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, JunkDNA will (a) cease all propagation activity, (b) delete your account data per the data-retention schedule in the Platform Privacy Policy, and (c) provide a final audit trail upon request.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is." While we use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain accuracy and reliability, JunkDNA does not guarantee that every authorized institution will accept every update; some institutions may require additional verification outside our control.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify JunkDNA AI, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Platform, or your submission of false personal information.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Delaware law. Disputes shall first proceed to good-faith negotiation, then mediation, then binding arbitration under AAA rules. Class actions are waived to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated to active users at least 30 days in advance.
